Engine & Performance It uses a 649 cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, DOHC with 4 valves per cylinder. Bore and stroke are 67.0 mm × 46.0 mm, with a compression ratio of 11.6 :1. It meets EURO5 (or equivalent) emissions standards and features modern fuel injection (PGM-FI) with 32 mm throttle bodies. In Europe spec it claims around 70 kW (~94 hp) at 12,000 rpm and around 64 Nm torque at ~8,500?9,500 rpm. US specs list a curb weight around 445 lb (?202 kg) in standard form. This means the CB650R offers strong performance for a ?middleweight? streetfighter ? the inline-four gives it smooth revving characteristics and plenty of power across the rev range. Chassis, Suspension & Brakes Frame: The bike uses a twin-spar steel-diamond (or similar) frame tuned for agility and stability. Front suspension: 41 mm Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Big Piston) USD forks, offering good front-end feel. Rear suspension: Showa single shock (monoshock) with preload adjustment. Brakes: Dual 310 mm front discs with radial-mount four-piston calipers + ABS; rear 240 mm disc + ABS. Total Motorcycle Wheels & tyres: Front tyre 120/70-17; rear tyre 180/55-17. Seat height: about 31.9 inches (?810 mm) in many markets. Wheelbase: ~57.0 inches (?1,450 mm). Together these specs indicate the CB650R is set up for sporty street riding: sharp handling, good suspension hardware, and a strong braking setup. Styling & Features The styling is described as ?modern cafe? or neo-cafe, combining naked-streetfighter with sportbike cues. All-LED lighting: headlight, tail light, turn signals.
